Budget Subcommittee
Community & Cultural Affairs Commission
The Community and Cultural Affairs Commission functions in an advisory role to the City Council to recommend a planned approach for the delivery of leisure, recreational and community services.
Design Review Subcommittee
The purpose of the Design Review Subcommittee is to provide early feedback to a developer regarding their proposed development in a round-table format that promotes dialog.
Planning Commission
The Planning Commission assists the City Council and the Desert Hot Springs community in the development and improvement of the City. Responsibilities include the ongoing evaluation of the city building codes and ordinances; the continual update of the city’s general plan; and the general oversight of zoning review and variances.
Public Safety Commission
The Public Safety Commission assists the City Council and Police Department in determining public safety issues, developing solution options, and making recommendations to the Council.
