What is the Neighborhood Renewal Program?
On May 11, 2009 the City Council and Redevelopment Agency Board of the City of Desert Hot Springs approved the Neighborhood Renewal Program. The goals of the program are to extend City assistance to stabilize neighborhoods, promote homeownership, remove blight and reinvest in the community. The mission of the Program is to create economic recovery through neighborhood partnerships.
What can the Neighborhood Renewal Program do for me?
There are several exciting opportunities for Desert Hot Springs residents under the Neighborhood Renewal Program. You can apply for a $15,000 maximum exterior beautification grant for your home.
How can I get involved?
You can also get involved with your neighborhood! The City of Desert Hot Springs and Desert Valley Disposal are sponsoring a series of neighborhood trash collection weekends. Participate in a Desert Hot Springs trash pick-up by disposing of unwanted bulky household items. Please, no hazardous materials.
How can I report violations?
You can also anonymously report trash, vehicle, and housing violations in your neighborhood via the City website or by calling 760-329-6411 x266.
