Desert Hot Springs, part of the Palm Springs Desert Resorts, is located just 112 miles from Los Angeles in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, overlooking Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley.

TRANSPORTATION

The city is one the direct route between Los Angeles and Phoenix and is approximately a two hour drive from L.A. via 1-10 or San Diego via 1-15 and 1-10.

It is conveniently located just 12 miles from Palm Springs International Airport, which offers connections worldwide.

Sun Line buses provide service between Desert Hot Springs and other Coachella Valley cities.

CLIMATE

The city has more than 330 days of sunshine per year. The summer months are warm but are tempered by low humidity. The elevation of Desert Hot Springs is 1,185 feet above the rest of the valley.
