The City of Desert Hot Springs has implemented an exciting new staff development program, LEAD (Leadership, Education, Action & Development).
Intended to encourage cooperation and efficiency between employees and City departments, the first session of this program will run once weekly for approximately 11 weeks. Additional sessions will follow.
Throughout the course of the program, City staff will learn more about how each department functions, both independently and cohesively. They will be taught philosophies and strategies for better leadership, public service, and community involvement.
All participants will be required to complete a final project to benefit the community.
