Despite the challenges of the past year, the building of the new Desert Hot Springs Public Library has continued at a speedy pace. According to Riverside County staff, it will be opened and ready for visitors in just a few short months!
The new library, at Palm Drive and Park Lane, will be 15,500 sq. ft. -- more than four times the size of the current facility.
When completed, it will feature the following:
- Study Rooms
- Adult & Teen Spaces
- Children’s Library
- Family Reading Area
- Technology Stations
- Opportunity Spaces
- Community Room
- And More!
Check out this new video of the project, which is developed by Omni West Group, Inc. in a public-private partnership, and will be operated through the Riverside County Library System.
