Welcome to the latest biweekly Economic Development Roundup, your source for the latest news on business in Desert Hot Springs!

City works with Restaurants to Expand Outdoor Seating

During these difficult times, the City has been working alongside businesses to add or expand outdoor seating in line with the Governor's COVID requirements. The City can process approvals quickly, often within one day. The process starts with the business submitting a proposed site plan. There is no fee for the inspection or approval of outdoor seating. A member from our Code Compliance staff will meet with the business to review the site and general safety conditions.

If your business is interested in outdoor seating now that Riverside County is back in the purple tier, please contact Christina Archuleta in our Code Compliance Department. She can be reached at (760) 329-6411 ext. 265.
