Have you been financially impacted due to COVID-19? Two new programs are offering new financial resources to help our residents and business owners weather the pandemic.
Is your rent past due?
The United Lift program is working to keep Riverside County families and individuals housed during these stressful times by funding more than $30 million dollars to provide rental assistance for those in need.
The program is now offering to cover past due rent between the months of April 2020 to December 2020. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and each household may be eligible for up to $3,500 of relief from the program. Landlords will be asked to submit a W-9 for payment. See if you qualify today by going to https://www.unitedlift.org or call 2-1-1.
Has your small business taken a hit due to COVID-19?
The Riverside County Small Business Grant program has been expanded to offer aid to more business owners. Entrepreneurs and small businesses can apply to receive a grant for up to $10,000 to cover resources needed to stay in business. Eligible ways to spend these grant uses include the following:
- Necessary equipment and operating technology
