Riverside County moved into the orange tier today, resulting in wider expansions of the State's reopening plan. To continue progress in reopening, the County and State continue to recommend vaccination for all who are eligible, and the City of Desert Hot Springs is pleased to announce vaccine availability in the city today, April 7.

Yesterday Governor Newsom Lifted the Regional Stay at Home Order

On January 25, 2021, Governor Gavin Newsom lifted the regional stay-at-home order that had been in effect in Southern California since November 2020. The Limited Stay at Home Order, which limited activities between 10 pm and 5 am, has also expired.
