Desert Hot Springs’ water has been named as among the world’s best yet again, winning fourth place at the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting Competition.
“Berkeley Springs is the Academy Awards of water,” event “watermaster” Arthur von Wiesenberger said at the event, which took place in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, from February 21 to 24.
Waters from all five continents were among the 112 entries, and Desert Hot Springs placed fourth in the municipal category.
This is just the latest in a long line of honors for Desert Hot Springs' award-winning water. The city won the 1999 and 2004 Gold Medals for the "Best Tasting Municipal Drinking Water," as well as several Silver Medals and a Bronze in 2018.
