PROJECT TITLE: Cultivation Facility for Plant D Properties

PROJECT LOCATION: Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 665-120-029


PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed project includes a conditional use permit that would allow for the development of four new F-1 Occupancy, Type 2B sprinkled buildings for cannabis cultivation, processing, packaging, and distribution. Each of the four buildings would be approximately 11,520 square feet (s.f.) and consist of eight air conditioning (a/c) condenser units. The project also includes associated site improvements, including parking, landscaping, street improvements, and utilities.

FINDINGS / DETERMINATION: The City has reviewed and considered the proposed project and has determined that any potentially significant impacts can be mitigated to a less than significant level. The City herby prepares and proposes to adopt an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project.

PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD: A 20-day public review period for the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration will commence at 8:00 a.m. on March 29, 2022 and end on April 18, 2022 for interested individuals and public agencies to submit written comments on the document.

Any written comments on the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration must be received at the above address within the public review period. In addition, you may email comments to the following address: dmcvey@cityofdhs.org.

Copies of the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration are available for review at the above address and at the City Library.

PUBLIC HEARING:  This project will be an administrative CUP with no public hearing.
