NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council will conduct a Public Hearing to consider amending various chapters of TITLE 17, ZONING ORDINANCE including: “CHAPTER 17.20 (OPEN SPACE); CHAPTER 17.24 (PUBLIC USE DISTRICTS); CHAPTER 17.48 (OFF-STREET PARKING STANDARDS), and CHAPTER 17.52 (OFF-STREET LOADING STANDARDS)”.

APPLICANT/REPRESENTATIVE: City of Desert Hot Springs
PROPOSAL: The proposal consists of the following actions: That City Council consider amending the following chapters of TITLE 17, ZONNIING ORDINANCE: “CHAPTER 17.20 (OPEN SPACE); CHAPTER 17.24 (PUBLIC USE DISTRICTS); CHAPTER 17.48 (OFF-STREET PARKING STANDARDS), and CHAPTER 17.52 (OFF-STREET LOADING STANDARDS)”.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The adoption of this ordinance is categorically exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3) because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the adoption of this Ordinance in question may have a significant effect on the environment.
On September 5th, 2023, the City Council, at the public hearing or during deliberation, may approve, deny, or propose changes to the project or to the environmental determination.
INTERESTED PERSONS MAY be heard or written comments may be submitted prior to the Public Hearing(s). Written comments will be made a part of the public record. If you challenge this matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Desert Hot Springs, at or prior to, the public hearing.
All information regarding the proposed project is available for public review by appointment at the City of Desert Hot Springs City Hall, 11999 Palm Drive Desert Hot Springs CA 92240, during regular business hours (Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
