NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance by the City of Desert Hot Springs amending Chapter 17.84 “Development Agreements” text in order to harmonize the text with the approved “Review Authority” Table 17.64.01 adopted by Ordinance 712 in May 2020. The Public Hearing will be held as follows:

APPLICANT/REPRESENTATIVE: City of Desert Hot Springs
PROPOSAL: The Planning Commission will consider a recommendation to the City Council amending Chapter 17.84 “Development Agreements” text in order to harmonize the text with the approved “Review Authority” Table 17.64.01 adopted by Ordinance 712 in May 2020 while updating the zoning for the 2020 General Plan Amendment.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: CEQA does not apply to the subject matter of this proposed Ordinance since it is not considered a project.
INTERESTED PERSONS MAY be heard or written comments may be submitted prior to the Public Hearing(s). Written comments will be made a part of the public record. Persons may testify orally at the time of the Public Hearing. If you challenge this matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Desert Hot Springs, at or prior to, the public hearing.
The Planning Commission hearing will be conducted in person, but anyone wanting to attend can either attend in person or through Zoom. The meeting will also be broadcast live on the City’s YouTube Channel. Access to the Zoom meeting will be available with the published agenda.
All information regarding the proposed project is available for public review by appointment at the City of Desert Hot Springs City Hall, 11999 Palm Drive Desert Hot Springs CA 92240, during regular business hours (Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
