PROJECT LOCATION: The proposed project is located on the east side of Little Morongo Road and approximately 0.20 miles north of Two Bunch Palms Trail. APN 663-280-026

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is proposing the development of a cultivation facility on a 2.25-acre partially developed land. The proposed facility will include three, 2-story buildings for cannabis cultivation and processing. The 2-story buildings will be 14,010 square feet and will include office space, conference room, break room, manufacturing, and cultivation space for cannabis. At total buildout, the building area would be 42,030 square feet and include parking, landscaping, and street improvements.

FINDINGS/DETERMINATION: The City has reviewed and considered the proposed project and has determined that no significant impacts will occur with implementation of the project’s mitigation measures. The City hereby prepares and proposes to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for this project.

PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD: A 20-day public review period for the Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration will commence on April 6, 2022 and end on April 27, 2022 for interested individuals and public agencies to submit written comments on the document. Any written comments on the Mitigated Negative Declaration must be received at the above address within the public review period.
