PROJECT LOCATION: The project site consists of one parcel located on the northeastern corner of the intersection of Dillon Road and the unimproved Cabot Road, in the city of Desert Hot Springs, Riverside County, California. Assessor’s Parcel Number 665-120-032
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Project proposes the development of a 2.18±-acre property (APN: 665120032) in Desert Hot Springs, California. The subject site, which is currently vacant and undeveloped, is designated for Industrial (I) use according to the General Plan and is in the Light Industrial (I-L) zoning district. The proposed development would occur on the southern portion of the site (0.92 acres) and would result in an outdoor storage yard for containerized / pod storage.
FINDINGS/DETERMINATION: The City has reviewed and considered the proposed project and has determined that no significant impacts will occur with implementation of the project’s mitigation measures. The City hereby prepares and proposes to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for this project.
PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD: A 20-day public review period for the Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration will commence on November 22th, 2023, and end on December 12th, 2023, for interested individuals and public agencies to submit written comments on the document.
