The City of Desert Hot Springs Animal Care and Control Sanctuary and Shelter provides a safe and nurturing environment for animals in need. As a volunteer, it is imperative to adhere to the established organizational policies and rules to ensure the well-being of all animals and the integrity of the program. The City reserves the right to remove any volunteer status under the following circumstances:
1. Mistreatment of Animals: Any form of abuse or neglect towards animals will result in immediate termination of volunteer status.
2. Non-compliance with Policies: Volunteers must comply with all organizational policies and rules. Failure to do so may lead to the revocation of volunteer privileges.
3. Breach of Volunteer Agreement: Volunteers are expected to abide by the terms outlined in the volunteer agreement. Any violation may result in removal from the program.
